Lights, Camera, Action! ...Cut! | Centre for Veterinary Education

Lights, Camera, Action! ...Cut!

by Lis Churchward

Ever fancied yourself behind a camera, or maybe in a post-production role?

Dreams are NOT free – but if you’re a CVE Member, they’ve just become a helluva lot more achievable!

We know from recent breakfast discussions held with vets and from general feedback that many of you feel stressed and burnt out, and are looking for some emotional nourishment.

Here’s your chance.

The CVE have negotiated a 10% discount off Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) courses at the University of Sydney (UoS) for all CVE Members. This is an amazing offer and equals the discount available to UoS employees.

Big ideas. Short courses.

Open to the general community, the CCE is the vehicle whereby the UoS – recognising the value of continuing education and lifelong learning for all – extends access to its resources and expertise to the public. The CCE offers an amazing range beginning with A at Arts & Humanities and ranging through to Travel. Investigate the range of courses available here: https://cce.sydney.edu.au

If you’ve recently started your own practice, you may be keen on learning more about business topics such as ‘Budgets and Forecasts Course for Organisations’. Or you may feel dangerously close to exhaustion and burn-out and need some emotional nourishment – what better than a completely non-veterinary topic like Music, Film or Television…?

Great, but I don't live in Sydney.

But maybe you’d be keen to combine an interesting course with a holiday? There are some great 1- and 2-day courses available:-

How to I register for the 10% discount?

Easy – sign up here: https://cce.sydney.edu.au/cve and your discount is valid whilst you remain a CVE member.
