Carolyn O'Brien

Having successfully gained her fellowship qualification, Carolyn commenced referral practice in Melbourne, from the Veterinary Referral Hospital in Hallam and then from the University of Melbourne. She is now one of the directors of Melbourne Cat Vets. Currently in the final stages of her PhD project, she has a busy family life with two children and two 19-year-old Burmese cats. Carolyn is interested in all aspects of feline medicine, particularly infectious diseases and clinical microbiology. She also has a strong interest in the theoretical underpinnings of effective adult learning and professional development. Carolyn is one of the tutors of the CVE/ISFM feline medicine DE course.
