Chris Greenwell

BVSc

Chris Greenwell graduated from the University of Sydney in 2002. After graduation he worked as a mixed practice vet in Nowra for 12 months, then headed overseas and worked as a small animal vet in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for two years. On returning home to Sydney he took up a position as a small animal registrar at the Sydney University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Camden where he stayed for three years. It was there that he developed his interest in small animal medicine by working on medicine referral cases. In 2012 Chris completed his specialist training program in small animal medicine under Dr Phil Brain, and since then has been one of our internal medicine vets. Chris is interested in all aspects of internal medicine, with particular interest in investigational techniques (ultrasound, endoscopy and advanced imaging). Chris’ home life also has a veterinary flavour with his wife being a specialist in equine medicine at the University of Sydney and his three cats and one Husky. When not working or studying, Chris likes to spend time in his shed at home working on one of his many “projects”, including the restoration of two vintage Italian motor scooters.
