Fleur James is a 2000 Murdoch University Veterinary graduate who enjoyed four years in small animal general practice before pursuing her career dream of specialising in small animal internal medicine. She joined Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital (MUVH) in 2004 and started her formal residency program in 2005. During her residency, Fleur enjoyed the opportunity to attend and present at national and international conferences as well as train with eminent internists and oncologists at MUVH, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cambridge (UK), Liverpool (UK), and Davis California (USA). Fleur was awarded Fellowship of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in 2009. After her residency, she remained at Murdoch as Senior Registrar in Small Animal Medicine and Oncology for 8 more years. She recently moved to Veterinary Medicine Specialists at Perth Veterinary Specialists to explore new opportunities. She is passionate about her work and continuing education.
