Chronic Kidney Disease in Cats WebinarPLUS

Chronic kidney disease is common in our feline patients, affecting up to 90% of cats over 15 years of age.

Whilst most of us feel comfortable making a diagnosis of CKD, challenges can come when patients have multiple diseases, or when the cat decides that they know what’s best! In this webinar we will review the diagnosis and management of CKD, from an evidence-based viewpoint, and discuss ways we might improve the QOL of cats, and compliance of owners.

Learning Objectives

After completing this course, participants will learn:

  • The role of SDMA in the diagnosis and staging of cats with CKD
  • Which treatments are going to best improve quality of life in cats with CKD and at what time point are they instituted
  • How to manage CKD whilst also managing comorbidities in older cats
