Nikki has experience in small animal practice treating wildlife and working closely with wildlife rehabilitators to support treatment and triage needs for a range of species. Nikki has a particular interest and knowledge in advanced bird care and has experience triaging and treating patients from the Black Summer crisis. Nikki is currently working for WIRES Inc developing material and resources for wildlife rehabilitators and industry professionals based on best practice and scientific research to further improve outcomes for wildlife in care throughout Australia, she is also currently working in small animal practice in the Illawarra region of NSW.
