Professor Kerwin, specialist in neurology and small animal surgery, is associate department head and Tom and Joan Read Chair in Veterinary Surgery at the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. Dr. Kerwin’s research interests are orthopaedics, neurology, and neurosurgery as it relates to lameness, gait analysis, fracture healing, osteoarthritis and the spinal cord. Dr Kerwin’s dual board certification allows an in-depth perspective on the crossover that occurs between orthopaedic and neurological disease.
