Paul Canfield

Paul Canfield is Professor Emeritus in the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Sydney. He was Professor of Veterinary Pathology and Clinical Pathology, and a Councillor for the Centre for Veterinary Education (CVE), University of Sydney from 2005 to 2013. He is committed to continuing education for the CVE and avidly presents workshops and lectures on all aspects of laboratory diagnosis of disease for the veterinary profession. His research interests include host-pathogen-environment interactions in wildlife and domestic animal disease, haematological and biochemical disturbances in companion animals, and diagnostic reasoning. He is committed to supporting and mentoring young students and veterinary graduates.
