Meg grew up in Tasmania and went to Sydney uni and graduated as a vet in 1997. She worked as a small animal vet in Sydney until 2005. She left the vet industry and became a medical doctor then completed the graduate medicine program at Sydney uni in 2009. She now works as an expedition medical officer in Antarctica. Meg's talk for the Mental Wellbeing for Veterinary Teams Symposium is recorded in Antarctica and is centred around why and how she left her vet career and what she has learned since becoming a human doctor.
