Victoria Brookes


After graduating from the University of Edinburgh, Victoria worked in veterinary general practice in the UK and Australia. She completed her PhD at the University of Sydney in 2014 on exotic disease risks to the pig industry in Australia. Dr Brookes is currently a postdoctoral researcher in veterinary epidemiology at the School of Animal and Veterinary Science at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga campus. Her interests include infectious disease and production animal epidemiology, and she is currently researching the risk factors for beef carcase contamination with E. Coli O157.t.
