A Clinician’s Guide to the Complexities of FeLV WebinarLIVE!

A recent study showed that 13.5% of cats with outdoor access were infected with, or had been exposed to, feline leukaemia virus (FeLV) in Australia.

Vaccination guidelines published by the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) and American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) both recommend FeLV vaccination as core in kittens and young cats with outdoor access. Despite this, FeLV sometimes feels like a forgotten infection in Australia, and FeLV vaccination is relatively uncommon.

The new Australia and New Zealand Guidelines for the Diagnosis, Prevention and Management of FeLV infection in Domestic Cats attempts to summarise everything that we know (and don't know) about FeLV infection for local clinicians, including FeLV epidemiology, diseases associated with FeLV infection, FeLV diagnosis (including common diagnostic dilemmas and how to solve them!), options for FeLV treatment, and FeLV vaccine efficacy.

This webinar will cover the most important updates contained in the new guidelines to help clinicians be Retroviral Ready!
