This presentation will focus on identification and diagnoses of sepsis in synovial structures based on the horse’s history and clinical examination as well as the results of imaging studies, cytology and synovial fluid culture.

We will review clinical anatomy of the synovial structures in horses with a special focus in the distal limb. Clinical cases and practical tips will be included.
