VESPA Abstract Sessions

In partnership with the University of Sydney Centre for Veterinary Education (CVE), VESPA invites submission of scientific and clinical abstracts for the VESPA Abstract Session, to be held on Friday 14 August 2026 (12:30–4:00 pm) as part of the conference Endocrinology in Practice: Confident Care Across the Spectrum in Melbourne. 

The Veterinary Endocrinology Society of the Pacific and Asia (VESPA) promotes scientific progress, education, and high standards of practice in companion animal and comparative endocrinology across Asian and Pacific countries. 

This page is for registration at this session only. Submission of scientific and clinical abstracts for the VESPA Abstract Session should be via [email protected] - see below for more information. Selected abstracts from veterinarians in Asian and Pacific countries will be presented during this free session (places limited). 

Call for Abstract Submissions

Submit your abstract for the opportunity to present at the VESPA Abstract Session. Abstracts may include original research, case studies, case series, or regional perspectives.

Submissions open: Monday 4 May
Extended! Close: Monday 1 June 2026
Outcome notifications: Tuesday 15 June

Please submit your abstract (max 250 words, in English) as a single Word document to [email protected]. Submissions will be reviewed by VESPA Educational Officers based on relevance, originality, and educational value.

Travel grants of €500 (sponsored by Dechra) are available for selected presenters. You can indicate your interest in travel support at the time of submission. For information regarding abstract submission or travel grants please contact [email protected].

 

Who should enrol?

This session is designed for veterinarians with an interest in companion animal endocrinology, including clinicians, researchers, academics and postgraduate students from across the Asia-Pacific region.

Attendance is free; however, places are limited. Priority registration will be given to conference delegates, abstract presenters and their guests.
