In this session, Dr Ava Tan will deliver a clinically focused overview of plasma product use, with an emphasis on their role in managing coagulopathies and providing oncotic support. You’ll gain a clear understanding of the differences between fresh frozen plasma (FFP), frozen plasma (FP) and liquid plasma, along with practical guidance on when and why to initiate plasma therapy. The session will outline therapeutic triggers, dosing considerations, and administration protocols for both boluses and constant rate infusions (CRIs).
