Karen Teasdale
Like all people in this wonderful profession, Dr Karen Teasdale wears many hats. Mum, wife, practice owner, vet, small animal dental enthusiast, Vedic philosophy devotee, vintage fashion aficionado, weightlifter and Disney tragic...the list goes on. Since graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2004 she has practiced in Parkes and in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, with detours to India to work with sacred cows. She purchased her own practice in 2008 (Angourie Road Veterinary Surgery in Yamba, NSW) and has worked as a solo practitioner for most the time since then (at times with a baby or two strapped to her back!) She believes that every facet of our life can teach us lessons to apply to other areas, and learned much from all of her interests, and in particular learned how to apply the lessons to the practice of veterinary medicine. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to share with you all some strategies derived from Vedic philosophy that she uses to not just survive this life, but thrive.
