Lisa began working as a veterinary nurse in a busy Brisbane general practice. After six years she changed direction and begun working at a Brisbane southside referral hospital. Over the years she has moved from a rotating nurse to an ICU nurse and is now nurse manager at a busy Sydney referral and emergency hospital. Her passion for veterinary medicine (in particular emergency, critical care medicine) and helping to improve knowledge in others has only increased over the years and continues to be a forefront at why she works in the industry. She is an AVNAT accredited veterinary nurse and is the chair of the VNCA CPD committee, member of the NIAG committee and outgoing co-chair of the AVECCTN Exam Committee.
