Education Partner - Feline Medicine Distance Education The International Society of Feline Medicine is the veterinary division of the charity International Cat Care, formerly know as the Feline Advisory Bureau. International Cat Care was established in 1958 and its vision is that ‘All cats, both owned and unowned, are treated with care, compassion and understanding’. The mission of International Cat Care is ‘To engage, educate and empower people throughout the world to improve the health and welfare of cats by sharing advice, training and passion.’ The International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) was established in 1996 as the veterinary focus for the work of the charity and, together with the American Society of Feline Practitioners, it publishes the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery. The CVE has partnered with the ISFM to deliver and promote the Feline Medicine Distance Education Course internationally.
