Dr. Gilor is an Associate Professor at the University of Florida, combining teaching, clinics, and research in the field of endocrinology, focused on diabetes mellitus. Before coming to UF, Dr. Gilor held faculty positions at UC Davis (2016-2019) and the Ohio State University (2012-2016) and worked as a consultant for IDEXX (2010-2012) and as a general practitioner (1998-2004). He earned his DVM (1997) from The Hebrew University (Israel) and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois (2010) where he also completed a 3-year residency in small animal internal medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (2008).
