Lucy graduated from the University of Sydney. She completed a three-year residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of California, Davis after a rotating internship in Sydney. After becoming board-certified in small animal internal medicine, she remained at UC Davis for a two-year fellowship in nephrology, interventional endourology and extracorporeal therapies. Her main areas of interest are in urinary medicine, including acute kidney injury, ureteral obstructions and urolithiasis, and extracorporeal therapies such as dialysis and therapeutic plasma exchange.
