Michael Linton
BVSc FANZCVS (Feline Medicine)
Dr Michael Linton is a registered Specialist in Feline Medicine based in Sydney. He obtained Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (FANZCVS) in Feline Medicine in 2018.
As part of his specialist training, he undertook original research into feline gastrointestinal eosinophilic sclerosing fibroplasia (FGESF), and is recognised for his ongoing contributions to the understanding of this condition.
Dr Linton’s clinical and research interests include inflammatory and infiltrative gastrointestinal disease, immune-mediated disorders, and haematological abnormalities. While his Fellowship is in feline medicine, his clinical practice encompasses both feline and canine patients.
He has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters, particularly in the field of veterinary gastroenterology, and is a regular invited speaker at veterinary conferences and continuing education events.
Dr Linton is actively involved in postgraduate education. He also contributes to the profession through active involvement in Feline Chapter of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.
In addition to his clinical and academic work, he provides advisory support to veterinarians on complex case management and professional challenges.
