Kayo Kuroda
BVSc, MANZCVS (Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery)
Dr Kayoko (Kayo) Kuroda graduated from the The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2006. She obtained Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery in 2018. Since completing her degree, she has pursued her passion for both teaching and clinical practice, with an emphasis on practical, hands-on approaches to small animal dentistry. Based in Brisbane, Dr Kayo is currently working as a consultant at Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) Sunshine Coast and with the roving veterinary dentistry referral practice Mobile Pet Dentistry. She also works in a small animal general practice several days each week, where she manages and performs complex and advanced dentistry cases. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Kayo is an active and committed educator, delivering lectures and workshops in small animal dentistry across Australia and internationally.
