Christina Dart

Christina Dart completed her veterinary degree at the University of Zuerich, Switzerland. She subsequently completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship and Master’s in Orthopaedics. Christina then moved to Canada where she completed an internship and residency in anaesthesia at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Canada . She completed the examinations to become a Diplomate of the America College of Veterinary Anaesthesiologists before becoming a lecturer and clinician in anaesthesia at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California Davis. Since 1996 Christina has held clinical and academic positions at the Sydney School of Veterinary Science. She is passionate about teaching and led the anaesthesia course in the BVSc and then DVM program, realised novel community engaged teaching initiatives, and has led and implemented changes in the School’s veterinary curriculum that has culminated in the change from the BVSc to the DVM program. At the end of 2019 Christina left the University but continues to participate in veterinary education.
