Care of the dyspneic patient NurseEd Dyspneic patients can be scary to care for, regardless of your experience. The aim of this session is to help build confidence in how to care for these respiratory compromised patients from triage, stabilisation and performing diagnostics to finding the reason for their current condition. We will walk through what to do when they come through the door, how to triage and initially stabilise them to allow for diagnostic imaging and further investigation into their disease process as well as implementing nurse care plans that ensures that the patient received the best possible care you can give and give you confidence in handling and treating respiratory compromised patients. |
